Bresser Messier EXOS 2 - equatorial GoTo mount

This German mount is equipped with tracking motors in both axes that follow celestial objects very precisely. The hand controller with GoTo function works reliably and precisely controls the mount to track your chosen object. Precision gears as well as deep groove ball bearings in both axes ensure minimal backlash at all nine possible tracking speeds. The battery pack (12 V) is conveniently fastened to the tripod shelf and takes eight LR20 ("D") batteries, but can also be replaced with an optional AC adapter. The mount rests on a solidly built tubular steel tripod with high stability and can carry Optical Tube Assemblies up to 13 kg in weight.

It is best suited to Optical Tube Assemblies in the 3-5-inch class (refractors) or 5-8-inch class (shorter focal length reflectors and catadioptrics).

With the Bresser Startracker GoTo system, even as an interested beginner, you are able to observe celestial objects within a few minutes, which you would have found only with difficulty or not at all without GoTo! Simply by pressing a button, the GoTo system searches for planets, nebulae or galaxies for you and positions your telescope automatically. The database of the GoTo system holds countless celestial objects ready for you. Observe celestial objects with optics from the Messier series with the GoTo system without a long search or photograph faint objects that you cannot reach with classical search methods!

The BRESSER StarTracker GoTo system features servo motors in both axes for up to 2"/sec and an ST-4 compatible autoguider port. The menu navigation of the Startracker hand controller is also multilingual and offers the setting of German, English, French, Spanish and Italian.
