The S-series consists of both roof and porro prism models with objective lenses > 40mm so personal preferences are immediately defined. In addition to the newly developed light transmission coatings, waterproof porrro prism models also boast the hydrophobic coating, thereby allowing for contrast-rich, bright viewing under rough outdoor conditions.

  Fully multi-coated lenses serve the essential purpose of maximizing the amount of light passing through a lens, thereby prevent flare and ghosting from interfering with your view. PENTAX applies multiple layers of coatings to every surface of every element and prism in the full Sport Optics line-up.
